A few word about tech expo
I initially thought it would be a small event, but seeing the magnitude and the hoardings, I realized the scale. It is an amazing experience to see 5,000 to 6,000 people together at a technology expo here. I have never seen this kind of scale in technology in Gujarat before. I truly believe that if you want to become a billionaire, technology is mandatory because you cannot scale multiple businesses without it.
This Tech Expo is important not just for Gujarat, but for all of India. It provides a platform where youngsters can get inspiration and overcome the fear of accepting new technology. You have provided a space where people can learn how to use technology with emotion in business. Our own industry has seen a total transformation and upgrade in skills by using technology, and I am glad to see this happening at such a large scale here.
I used to think tech talent was mostly in Bangalore, but after coming here, I realized Gujarat has an amazing force of tech people! The start itself is so powerful that I can only imagine how big the future results will be.
Seeing an event of this scale gives local IT companies the confidence and boost they need to compete on a global level. My goal has always been to see Gujarat’s IT companies fight against foreign companies and build a strong brand. This expo proves that we don't just need to go to Dubai or Singapore for tech expos; a high-level IT expo can happen right here in Ahmedabad.
The hard work the team has put into this expo is even more than what is required to bring an IPO or manage a grand wedding. This event is a great success because of that dedication. It provides a platform where tech companies and non-tech companies (clients and vendors) can meet and find solutions. My suggestion for the next expo is for every tech company to invite all their clients to visit and witness this ecosystem.
I am thoroughly impressed; if this is the first event, I can only imagine what the second one will be like. Gujarat is becoming a breeding ground for great tech companies thanks to government policies and the incredible developers we have here.
This effort by the Tech Expo committee is highly commendable. Gujarat is a land of entrepreneurs, but for years we lagged in IT because we didn't always run these businesses as large-scale corporates. Now, we are at a stage where we shouldn't just look at Bangalore or Pune; we should look at the global stage.
